新加坡面積不大，國內有鐵路 MRT 連接各區，交通方便。由於華人佔新加坡全國人口比例超過七成，所以中文字周圍可見。但官方語言仍是英文。
在網上找了些新加坡玩具和模型店的資料，再到 http://www.streetdirectory.com.sg 這個網上地圖網站去找尋各店鋪位置。

基本上新加坡人玩

而價錢一般比香港貴...
我今次只集中在新加坡近中心地帶私地區四處走走。

Shopping Centre 的 Central Hobby Plus 是 2005年8月才搬到此處，我05年7月去時仍在舊址。其實我在1996年第一次到新加坡時已到過此店，05年再到此店和店員閑聊中才得知這搬店消息，而且還給我印有這新地址的咭片。07年再到現址一次。
Ngee Ann City(義安城)是Orchard Road (烏節路)的一個大型商場。除了LEGO Store，還有日資百貨公司高島屋(Takashimaya)(http://www.takashimaya-sin.com/)。馬路對面的Paragon有玩具反斗城。
